HVACR Professionals are subject to compliance to the Universal Technician Certification program that primarily concerns on the refrigerant management :proper recovery of refrigerants on approved DOT containers whenever replacing major components or repairing leaks. Severe penalties were set from a fine of $10,000.00,imprisonment or both for practitioners who were caught/reported to be intentionally releasing refrigerants to the atmosphere.

People knowingly or unknowingly increases the amount of carbon dioxide (carbon dioxide is the number one contributor to global warming) in the atmosphere ; in excess of 25% of its usual amounts it adds up to a danger zone.The direct effect of global warming are created by chemicals that are emitted directly in the atmosphere.

Increase ,in most cases is through the combustion of fossil, this combustion of fossil fuels is caused by need for electricity in our modern world.

Refrigerants leaking from refrigeration or air conditioning system contribute to GLOBAL WARMING.

As Global warming continues....Can we save our forest ?

The Heating Ventilating Air Conditioning Refrigeration career path has a wide of opportunities. There are various programs that address designing, testing, repairing, retrofitting and balancing on a problem solving level.
Training centers, colleges and universities have some offerings that prepare the HVACR technologists to fill a wide technological gap between the Service Technicians and Engineers.
Challenging careers abound in national & international level.There are different third party certifications available and to those who qualifies there are firms that look for trained HVACR engineering technicians for a variety of positions: HVACR-R in-plant engineering, systems controls, after sales service technicians, application and/or project engineering, HVACR project estimating, HVACR engineering, field repair technicians, sales representatives, marketing and systems control training

The Scope of HVACR & Energy Management Practice

The practice of Heating Ventilating Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is a wide scope....wider is the scope of Energy Management, which basically includes HVACR as a part of Total Energy Management .

New technology has replaced the way we live, from simple life using electric fans, adjusting our house temperature via conventional room air conditioner which basically performs depending on how much insulated our homes and how the units installed are designed.
Now the latest energy management systems that controls commercial and industrial cooling, heating and ventilating equipment are remotely programmed from a computer server enhancing optimum systems performance with the least power and energy consumption.

Changes in basic mechanical and electro-mechanical components are becoming critical. Pnuematic controlled devices that are being feed from the conventional air compressors are now being replaced by transducers.Mechanically operated valves , temperature sensors , dampers, etc.. are now controlled by electronics board.

Changes in technology are vast and keeping on the right track is our individual choice ....practitioners on how to adopt in these changes...
